Tango Rewards Setup
Configure Tango Card integration to send gift-card rewards to participants.
Role required: Project Management (and Tango admin access)
Overview
Tango provides a rewards API for sending digital gift cards. If your organization uses Tango on its own platform, you need credentials for both test and production environments.
Required credentials
Obtain these from your Tango administrator:
- API key
- Platform identifier
- Group ID
- Account ID
Do not store credentials in project files or share them via email. Use your organization's secure credential management.
Test environment
Use the sandbox environment for development and testing:

Test thoroughly before switching to production. Sandbox transactions do not send real rewards.

After testing is complete, switch to production:

Configuration steps
- Obtain test credentials from your Tango admin.
- Configure the integration in the sandbox environment (confirm location in app).
- Verify test rewards are recorded correctly.
- Obtain production credentials.
- Update the configuration to use production endpoints.
- Send a test reward and confirm delivery.
Tango Card configuration occurs on Tango's external platform (sandbox or production portals), not within the StudyTrax product interface. No product screenshot applies.
